Key Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have early-career experience in Guardianship proceedings and strong legal drafting skills. Experience formulating arguments and case strategies a must. Experience in guardianship witness prep, examination and cross-examination required. Self-starter and comfortable with courtroom advocacy. This role requires initiative, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York and reside in a location that makes travel within the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County possible, as the position requires the ability to cover hearings and court appearances throughout the five boroughs of New York and Nassau County, with a concentration in Queens, lower NYC and the Bronx in support of active guardianship matters.
• The position will be an on-site position initially at our offices in Garden City and will possibly move to a hybrid work arrangement.
