TITLE: Corporate Associate Attorney, Mergers & Acquisitions
OFFICE: Omaha, NE
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced associate attorney to join the firm’s corporate department in its Omaha office. This role is ideal for the associate attorney who has an interest in developing their skills and knowledge in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, and general corporate matters with an opportunity to assume significant deal responsibility and engage in meaningful client contact while working closely with experienced partners.

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical reasoning skills
- Ability to review, analyze, and draft complex documents accurately and efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and matter management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
- Ability to work effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team
- Desire to actively engage in client development activities
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
- Currently admitted to practice law in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year required
- 2 or more years of relevant transactional practice experience
Position Information
Status: Exempt
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3:2, with supervisor approval
